George Walter Bolton was born August 20, 1931 and passed away on January 22, 2013 at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvie Luther Bolton and Thelma Thurston Bolton; son, Gary Wayne Bolton; and sister, Lida Jo Richter. George is survived by his wife, Elnora; of Marion, Texas; daughters, Yvonne Turner and family of Columbus, Ohio and Diane Kramer and family of Marion, Texas. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Schertz Funeral Home from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Graveside services will at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00am with United States Navy Honors.
