Gabe Short, age 64 of Marion, Texas, passed away October 21, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Auxier Pack and Martha Alice Short and sisters, Debbie Young and Rebecca Flat. He is survived by his wife, Sharon D. Short of Marion; son, Shannon Dean Short, Hutchinson, Kansas; son, Ronnie Reese Short, Miamisburg, Ohio; daughter, Melisa Michelle Barth, New Braunfels, Texas; daughter, Pamela Christine Kindt, Marion, Texas; son, Timothy Lloyd Short, Eaton, Ohio; son, Gabriel Anthony Short, Miamsburg, Ohio; brothers, Lonnie Endicutt, Middletown, Ohio; Donald Pack of Lawrence, Kentucky; Sammy Pack of Louisa, Kentucky; sisters, Frances Jean Serio, Miamsburg, Ohio; Elector Jean Horn, Lawrence, Ohio and Madeline Roberts, Louisa, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
