In Loving Memory of Francisco "Pancho" Cantu Jr.

December 27, 1970 – December 14, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francisco Cantu Jr., a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world on December 14, 2024, just days before his 54th birthday.

Born on December 27, 1970, to Francisco and Graciela Cantu, Francisco grew up embodying the values of dedication, kindness, and strength. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, retiring as a decorated veteran after years of honorable service.

Francisco’s greatest joy was his family. He was the proud father of three children—Francisco Cantu III, Angelina Cantu, and Matteo Cantu—whom he loved deeply and cherished above all else. He was also a devoted son to Francisco and Graciela Cantu and a supportive brother to Jesus Cantu and Amanda Albrecht.

Francisco will be remembered for his unwavering love, his strength of character, and his quiet acts of generosity. He carried a sense of humor and humility that brought light to everyone around him.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Services to honor Francisco’s life will be held privately, and his resting place will be at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or any veterans services in Francisco’s memory.

Rest in peace, Francisco. You were loved beyond measure, and your memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew you.
