Francisca Yount

Francisca (Gutierrez) Yount, age 97 of New Braunfels, TX, passed away on March 9, 2011. Francisca is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio C. Gutierrez; daughter, Eliza Elsie C. Hayes and grandsons, Richard W. Watts, Michael A. Gutierrez and LeRoy Gutierrez Jr. She is survived by her children, Olga Cahill, Maria Guadalupe Eubank, Antonio Gutierrez & wife, Jackie, LeRoy Gutierrez & wife, Josie, Judith J. & husband, Richard Watts and Thelma Issa & husband, Bill Gibson; son-in-law, Edward Hayes and 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Francisca was raised and lived most of her life in Laredo, Texas. Throughout her teaching career, she dedicated her life to helping and caring for others. She taught at Guadalupe Catholic School, St. Augustine and Christ the King Catholic Schools. After her retirement she dedicated all of her life and love to all of her children. She will be missed dearly by everyone. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM) on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Holy Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12, 2011 @ 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Laredo, Texas. Pall Bearers will be her sons, son-in-law, granddaughter, grandsons, and great-grandsons: Antonio (Buddy) Gutierrez, LeRoy Gutierrez, Richard Watts, Linda Hayes, Gabriel Issac Gutierrez and Robert Cahill, Antonio Valencia, and Levi (Watts) Johnson.
