Forrest Horecka, Jr.

January 24, 1958 — February 26, 2012

Forrest Opie Joseph Horecka, Jr., born on January 24, 1958, passed away on February 26, 2012, at the age of 54. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carol L. Horecka; parents, Forrest J. Horecka, Sr. and Alice M. Horecka; son, Justin Eric Horecka; daughters, Candace Marie Horecka-Wolfe and her husband, James, and Krystal Lynne Horecka; granddaughters, Aven Leigh James and Devlynn Marie Wolfe; brother, Ronald Horecka and his wife, Carol. Forrest served with the Bexar County Sheriffs Department for 20 years. Since graduating from high school, being a pilot was not only his hobby, but his passion in life. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Schertz Funeral Home, from 1:00PM until 9:00PM. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, March 5, 2012, at Schertz Funeral Home, at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 100 Club of San Antonio, P.O.
