Fern Roberts

September 11, 1923 — December 15, 2009

Fern Irene Burkholder Roberts, devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away December 15, 2009, at the age of 86 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Woodrow Roberts; her daughter, Paula Jean Roberts and granddaughter, Leslie Erin Roberts. She is survived by son, Richard Allyn Roberts of Indianapolis, Indiana; her daughter, Judith Roberts Komorita of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Douglas G. W. Roberts of Massachusetts; Keith A. Komorita, Kyle G. Komorita, and Elorie A. Komorita all of Houston, Texas, and great-grandson, Anthony A. Komorita of Houston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Schertz Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana.
