Felis Leon

September 7, 1923 — July 6, 2011

After 87 years, Wednesday, July 6, 2011, Felis De Leon left this world to join her son, Gilbert De Leon, Jr. and God in His Kingdom, after fulfilling her purpose in life. This Angel of God left many loved ones, such as her beloved husband, who meant the whole world to her for 63 years, Gilbert De Leon; her four children, Gloria Cantu, Isabel De Leon and Mark Gay, Tony De Leon and Mary Jane Ives and husband, Keith; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren are what kept her world going. Felis was a very lovable and caring woman while she lived her life on this earth. Gods intentions of creating this angel were for her to keep her many family members and friends, who were by her bedside at the time of her passing, on the right track. She was our guardian angel in human form and now our guardian angel in spirit. You will always be in our hearts and minds and we will miss your beautiful smile. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (with a Rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM) on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, TX. Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2011, following the Rosary. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
