Federico Rodriguez, Jr.

Federico (Freddie) J. Rodriguez Jr., born November 25, 1967 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, died on March 26, 2015 in Cibolo, Texas. Freddie enjoyed spending his time traveling, especially to Europe, and was very devoted to his family. He worked at Northeast Methodist Hospital as a Registered Nurse for seven years. In his profession, he touched many people with his knowledge, outgoing personality, and wonderful smile. He was preceded in death by his father, Federico J. Rodriguez; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rodriguez, and Mr. and Mrs. Roberto Rodriguez; and his uncles, Gilbert Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, and Edward Chapa. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Rodriguez; Sister Monica A. Elliott, and husband, David; brother, Mike Rodriguez, and wife, Annie; nephews, Evan, Austin, and Reese; aunts, Norma J. Chapa, and Irma S. Rodriguez, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Nurse Director, Joan Jones, the wonderful oncology nurses, Dr. Kapoor and his staff, as well as the other doctors and nurses that took care of him while he was in the hospital. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Schertz Funeral Home 4:00PM - 8:00PM with a Rosary to be held at 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Selma, Texas at 10:30AM. All services will conclude at the church.
