Federico Rodriguez

Federico Jose Rodriguez, US Army (Retired), age 69, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2009 at his home in Schertz, TX. Federico was born to Roberto & Margarita Rodriguez on October 14, 1939 in Rio Grande City, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Roberto & Gilberto Rodriguez. Federico is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Rodriguez; daughter, Monica Ann Elliott & husband, David; sons, Freddie Rodriguez, Mike Rodriguez & wife, Annie; grandson, Evan & Austin Rodriguez; sister, Irma Rodriguez; brothers, Mario & wife, Susie, Pedro Rodriguez & wife, Pauline; along with numerous nieces & nephews. A special thanks to the nurses, doctors, social workers, and chaplain at Heartland Hospice, NE Methodist oncology and IMIS floor & especially Dr. Julio Araujo, M.D.Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Selma, TX at 6:00 P.M. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on August 15, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Heartland Hospice or American Cancer & Diabetes Foundation. Interment will follow immediately at Holy Cross Cemetery.
