Fanchon, known as “Fan” was born on December 5, 1932 in Los Angeles, California and grew up there and in Mexico. Growing up in the US and Mexico allowed her to become fluent in English, Spanish and later, French. She began her professional career as an administrative assistant in Mexico City and later became an expert in executive recruiting. She returned to the United States in 1982 and continued working in the Washington D.C. area as an executive recruiter. She retired in 1998 and moved to San Antonio where she was active in her neighborhood’s homeowners association and a long time member of her local gym.
She is survived by a great number of family members including her nieces and nephews. They are Wolfgang Kosegarten, Wilhelm Kosegarten, Alejandro Galindo, Joaquin Galindo, Claudia Galindo, Sandra Galindo, Walter Galindo, Fanchon Isabel Galindo, Edelmira Pereyra Gallagher, Marianne Shields, Mike Gallagher, Pat Gallagher, Steve Gallagher, Chuck Gallagher, Chris Gallagher, and Kip Gallagher. Her niece Teri Gibson and nephew Guillermo Galindo passed away prior to her passing. Fanchon also leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews and their children.
Memorial services for Fanchon remain pending due to travel and other restrictions caused by the COVID-19 crisis.
