Evelyn Yashuk

August 30, 1930 — January 27, 2010

Evelyn L. Yashuk, age 79, of Schertz, Texas passed away on January 27, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Mary Mahan; children, Thomas Yashuk and Judith Yashuk and sister, Mary Shelby. She is survived by her loving husband, John C. Yashuk; grandchildren, Michelle Yashuk, Jessica Thomas and Devin Thomas; great-granddaughter, Delilah Cardenas; sister, Jean Brown; niece, Kay Dillworth as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM (with a Rosary being Recited at 7:00 PM) on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio with Father Greg Nevlud as the Celebrant. Interment will follow. Memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
