Evelyn Berger went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Evelyn was born on February 23, 1936 in Caldwell, TX, to Frank and Emma Karowski. She married Brad Berger in San Antonio, Texas. During her life as an Air Force wife, she found joy in making a home, wherever they were sent. They settled back in San Antonio after Brad retired. Evelyn was happy and content as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her joyful spirit and unconditional love for each member of her family will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Brad; a son, Rickey, and his wife, Susan; a daughter, Debbie, and her husband, Bob; grandchildren: Christopher, Sharon, Cindy, Kimberley, and Tabatha; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill; sisters: Josephine, Mary, and Laverne. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 1:00PM. at Wayside Chapel, 1705 N W Loop 410. The family requests no flowers please.
