Evangelina Gonzales

Evangelina  (Arispe) Gonzales, 92, passed away peacefully at her home In Cibolo Texas on Thursday, April  28, 2022.  She was the widow of George Gonzales.  They spent many happy years together. Evangelina was born on September 6, 1929, in her home town of  Cibolo, Texas. She quit school after the 3rd grade in order to help her family in the cotton fields picking cotton and farming.  A very hard worker she worked at Finesilver Manufacturing Company in San Antonio for 28 years in order to provide for her family. She will be remembered for her loving attitude and being soft spoken and always making sacrifices in order to help others.  She loved music and dancing. She is survived by her three sons, daughter in law, daughter, one grandson four granddaughters and four great grandkids and many pets. Eva was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was happiest around her family. The viewing/visitation will be held on Friday May 13, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 16075 N Evans Rd. Selma, Texas 78154  at 9:30am, Rosary will begin at 10:30am.  Funeral Mass will start at 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at Selma Cemetery #2.
