Eva Fuhrmann-Hale

January 11, 1961 — February 15, 2012

Eva Maria Fuhrmann-Hale, 51, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2012 and is at peace in our Lords hands, reunited with her parents who preceded her in death, Klaus and Ingeborg Dietz-Fuhrmann. Eva was born in Germany where she met her husband of 31 years, Brad Hale who was then in the United States Air Force. They married in Germany and returned to the United States in 1981. Eva lived in Decatur, Illinois, finished college there and worked for Waggoner Casting Co. in Quality Assurance until they moved to Waco, Texas in 1986 and then settled in San Antonio in 1988. She held quality control jobs in several area companies, such as TEXTEK Plastics, Inc., Lancer Corp., Dynacast Mfg. Inc., E.C. Technologies, Inc. and Colin Medical Instruments Corp., until her favorite Dream Job at Kelly Aviation, a Lockheed Martin Company. She loved her family of friends at Kelly Aviation where she was a quality analyst. They sponsored much appreciated cancer walks and blood drives. A Heartfelt thanks, for their unwavering support. Eva was in every way a Quality person in life and occupation. She was a long time member of the ASQC (American Society for Quality Control). A certified quality engineer and auditor and she also chaired her local ASQC chapter. Evas other passions included, her dog, Dusty, fishing, cooking, motorcycle charity rides, rock concerts, crafts and woodworking. Eva is survived by her husband, Brad Hale; brother, Gert Fuhrmann; sister, Sabine Heinrich and very special nephew, Florian Heinrich, brother-in-law, Uwe Heinrich; mother and father-in-law, Edna and Douglas Gondek; sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Greg Hale; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Greg Ooton; nieces; Whitney Ooton and Kristie Rigg; nephews, Sean Holzen, Adam Alburtis, Greg Hale, Jr., and Matthew Rigg. A memorial service will be held at The Country Church at 1005 West FM78, Marion, Texas 78124 on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:30PM with Pastor Neal Kibbe officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to: The American Cancer Society.
