Eugene Parris

December 23, 1931 — April 24, 2012

Eugene Gene Walter Parris, born on December 23, 1931, passed away on April 24, 2012, at the age of 80. He worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as a Food Inspector, retiring after 20 plus years. His parents, Walter and Lucille Parris and sister, Phyllis McKay, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Janice Parris; sons, Tracy Parris, Eric Parris and his wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Aaron and Katherine Parris; sister, Jeanette Gillespie. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 30, 2012, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 10:00AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Air Force Honors.
