Estela C Vargas, born December 1, 1931 in Piedras Negras, Mexico, passed away on January 24, 2021 in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe R. Vargas who passed in 2008, and her parents Bernardino Cirilo and Concepcion Arellano. Estela is survived by her children Yolanda Contreras (Mike), Nora Maldonado, David Vargas and John Vargas, also 9 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 10:00AM at the Schertz Funeral Home, with a committal service to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 11:30am.
