Erika Jones

Erika Margarete Jones, age 74, was born on June 18, 1935 in Kaiserslautern, Germany and passed away on May 17, 2010 in Universal City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Karoline Oster and her sister, Inge Ehlert. She is survived by daughters, Diana Gillen of Littleton, Colorado and Monica Livingston of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Captain Chris Livingston, Allison Livingston, Ross Gillen and Ashley Gillen and brother, Werner Oster of Germany. Erika began her working career as a Pfaff sewing machine demonstrator in Kaiserslautern, Germany. After her marriage to Gerald E. Jones, Jr. she worked in the Child Care Center in Landstuhl, Germany, and at Hanscom AFB, MA. She spent most of her working life as an employee of AAFES at Randolph AFB, TX. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:oo pm on Friday July 30,2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
