Emily F. Booker, age 83 of Adkins, formerly of Schertz, passed away on April 29, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Benton Booker, her parents, Butch and Espie (Evans) Sturrock and her son, Christopher Booker. Emily is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Lisa Little & husband, Richard; grandchildren, Kimberly Benavides, Tess Winkler, Richard Little II, Jesse Booker, and Christopher Booker; great-grandchildren, Canyen, Hunter, Lainey Marie, Emily, Cassidy, and Caydin and cousin, Doran Dennis. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM) on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:45 AM on Friday May 2, 2008 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Max Tarbet officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
