Elizabeth Margaret Cloud Hovermale of Schertz, Texas born on October 30, 1921 passed away peacefully on August 15, 2013 at the age of 91. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. Cloud and Nellie English Cloud, her brothers, Andrew J. Cloud and Richard Donald Cloud and sisters, Marjorie Cloud, Mary Doris Cloud, and Dorothy Olson. She is survived by her children Cheslee Hovermale Inselmann and husband, Don and son, Dennis Jerry Hovermale; grandchildren, Andrew Inselmann and wife Amy, Hope Elizabeth Hovermale, Zachary Hovermale Reisz; great-grandchild Abigail Sarah Inselmann; brother, James Lindley Cloud and sister Ann Louise Andress. Margaret is loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Margaret was multi-talented in numerous areas of her private and professional life. She worked and traveled for the San Francisco Bus Authority in the 1940s, was a salesman and realtor and earned Salesman of the Year in 1966 from the San Antonio Texas Real Estate Board; active member of Good Shepherd Church in Schertz, TX; Founder of the Good Shepherd Oncology Support Group, Schertz, TX, providing comfort quilts & needed items for cancer victims; provided testimony for house sub-committee in Washington DC for changes in women spousal benefits; used her professional decorating and sewing skills for her family and those in need. Special thanks from the family to the owners and staff of Autumn Winds Retirement Lodge who gave loving and special care to Margaret during her residence and her illness. Also, to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels who provided superb medical assistance and care. In lieu of flowers please offer your prayers for Margaret. Arrangements are with Schertz Funeral Home and interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. 7200 Wall St., Spokane, Washington, at a future date.
