On September, 8, 2014, Elizabeth Anne Cale passed away peacefully at the age of 86, surrounded by family. She was born on July 17, 1928 in Breckenridge, Texas. She has resided in Marion, Texas since 1951. She loved to paint, grow violets, and read. She was an avid Spurs fan. She is survived by her son, David Cale and his wife Laurel, daughter Emily Denis and her husband Ron, as well as grandchildren Callie Britton and husband Joseph, Carissa Houlton and husband Bryce, Cody Cale, Caitlin Cale, Daniel Denis and wife Michelle, Joshua Denis and Victoria Martinez, and 4 great grandchildren Eric, Thomas, Tyler, and Colby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cale, after 58 years of marriage. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 7-9. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Schertz Funeral Home at 9:30am with a graveside service at Fort Sam Houston at 11:00am.
