Eliza Garza Frias, born December 10, 1935, in Zuehl, TX, went to be with our Lord on August 20, 2020, at the age of 84. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother and great friend. Eliza is preceded in death by her parents Mr. Victor Garza and Mrs. Carlota De Los Santos Garza, and brother Julian Garza. She is survived by her longtime best friend and husband Juan Mendez Frias, whom she married on November 29, 1959. She is also survived by her sons; Daniel (Tracey Schultz), Juan II (Nelda Simo), Armando (Carol); daughter, Patricia (Roland Gamez), Rose Ann (Ronnie Pena), 13 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 12noon to 2:00pm. The rosary will begin on 2:00pm on Sunday followed by the Funeral Service, being conducted by Deacon Ken Mamot, all services will take place at the Schertz Funeral Home.
