Elida Livergood

November 23, 1946 — December 29, 2014

Elida Acuna Livergood, born on November 23, 1946, in San Antonio, TX, passed away on December 29, 2014, in Schertz, TX, at the age of 68. She spent most of her time sewing, knitting, crocheting, keeping up with politics, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Arispe Acuna; sister, Baby Genevieve Acuna, and nephew, Jeremy Toops. She is survived by her daughter, Denise, and husband, Michael Wanke; granddaughters, Sarah Wanke, and Erica Wanke; father, Edward Acuna Sr.; brothers, Edward Acuna Jr., Michael Acuna and wife, Kathy Acuna, Martin Acuna and wife, Ann Acuna; sisters, Elia Acuna and Eloisa Toops; and 5 neices and nephews. She touched so many lives and was proud to be "Nanny" to so many. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. The Memorial mass will be on Saturday, January 3, 2015, 10:00am, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, TX, after which all services will conclude. In lieu of flowers offerings can be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church,Discovery Church Impact Generations, Cibolo, TX, or your home church.
