Eleanor Maupin-Yarling

Eleanor Maupin-Yarling, age 89 of Universal City, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles P. Maupin and her second husband, Thomas Yarling. Eleanor is survived by her sons, Mike Maupin & wife, Lizzeth of Honolulu, Hawaii and John B. Maupin & wife, Vickie of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Ann Ford & husband, Homer Dean of Spring Branch, Texas; sisters, Imogene Boorman of Princeton, Texas and Ollie Mae Warren of Ashdown, Arkansas; grandchildren, Joel, Melissa, Angela, Andrew and Victor; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, additional relatives & dear friends. She was a loving mother & friend to all. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Schertz with Pastor Gary Heatherly officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: The Free House Cemetery Association, 101 Main Street, Fordyce, Arkansas 71742.
