Elaine Kierum

Elaine Kierum, born April 20, 1941, in Marion, TX, passed away on September 22, 2018, in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her husband Elton Jacob Kierum, Jr., parents Arno and Elma Schultze, and brother Vernon Schultze. Elaine is survived by her daughters Cindy Hood and husband Chuck, and Brenda Kierum-Terry and husband John; grandchildren JD Terry, Natalie Turnage, and Cody Johnson; great grandchildren, Kyra Blackwell and Madeline Johnson; and siblings Barbara McCall, Clyde Schultze, and Jane Wade.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be given to St John Lutheran Church in Marion.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 2:00pm at the St John Lutheran Church in Marion, TX, with interment to follow at St John Lutheran Cemetery.
