Edward Lindquist

Edward Eaton Lindquist, 72, of Universal City, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012. Born on April 29, 1940 in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clarence Lindquist and Margaret Eaton Lindquist. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Hasselbach Lindquist; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lydia, daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Will; grandchildren, Andy, Luke, Tyler, and Maggie; sisters Emily and Mary Jo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed joined the Air Force in 1962 and served his country with honor for 24 years before retiring in 1986. Not one to sit idle, Ed joined H&R Block as a tax preparer and instructor, a job at which he excelled. Ed, a loving husband, father and friend, was best known for his love of good music and his wicked sense of humor. Always willing to assist those in need, he worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help others. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
