Edward Kinsloe

July 28, 1924 — October 4, 2011

Edward C. Buddy Kinsloe III passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the age of 87. He was born on July 28, 1924 to Edward C. Kinsloe, Jr. and Lenore Creel in Burlington, Iowa. Buddy served his country during WWII. After he retired from the US Meteorological Service he owned and operated Buddys Landscape for 30 years. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Louise; his parents and his sister, Jacqueline A. Mathis. He his survived by his son, Joe Kreps and wife, Sharon of New Braunfels; grandson, Mack Kreps and wife, Denise of Austin; great grandchildren, Faith and Sonnie Kreps of Austin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at The Country Church, 1005 FM 78 in Marion, Texas. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
