Edward Jones

February 22, 1962 — April 7, 2013

Edward T. Jones, born on February 22, 1962, passed away suddenly on April 7, 2013, at the age of 51. Edward grew up in Schertz, Texas and graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1980. He then worked in Retail Management, retiring after 21 years. Edward enjoyed working on various projects, always building, fixing, and planting things. Although he never met a stranger, his whole world revolved around his wife and kids. His father, Don L. Jones, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Michele Y. Jones; sons, Johnathan E. Jones and DJ Dickinson; daughter, Meghan M. Jones; mother, Jean C. Wells-Jones and her companion, Homer Blair; brothers, Robert B. Jones and Don L. Jones; numerous other loving family members and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 11:00AM, at Schertz Funeral Home, with Pastor David Lindow officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
