Edward Braun

September 4, 1921 — December 26, 2011

Edward E. Braun, 90, of Cibolo, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at home. Born on September 4, 1921 in Thrall, Texas, he was the son of the late Herman Braun and Dora Doerfler Braun. Edward proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia J. Person Braun; Children, Nancy Smith and her husband David of Atlanta, GA, Susan Strout and her husband Bob of New Braunfels, TX, Paul Braun of Sulphur Springs, TX and Linda Braun of Cibolo, TX. Also surviving are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Schertz Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 9:30 AM, at the Schertz Funeral Home, followed by interment at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, TX. If you so desire, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Braun's name to help the Philippine MIssion. Checks may be made out and sent to Libby Christian Church, 100 Kootenai River Rd., Libby, Montana 59933.
