In Loving Memory of Edilma Castillero Vallejo, April 4th 1937 – January 22nd 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edilma Castillero Vallejo on January 22nd 2025. She was a beloved spouse, parent, sibling, and grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.

Born on April 4th 1937 in La Provincia de Los Santos, Panama, Edilma lived a life full of love, laughter, generosity, and faith. She was a passionate teacher in Panama before meeting her husband while on vacation in the United States. Edilma will be remembered for her devotion to her faith, dedication to her family, and strength.

Edilma is survived by her granddaughter Gisella Paranich; brother Dr. Cecilio Castillero and family; brother Dr. Jose Castillero and family; sister Carolina Llaca Castillero and family; sister Oderay Ellegood and family; and her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isauro Solis Vallejo.

A burial service will be held on February 11th 2025 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to join in celebrating the life of Edilma Castillero Vallejo.
