Earl Stevenson

September 27, 1953 — August 16, 2012

Earl M. Stevenson (Steve) was born in Landstuhl, Germany, on 27 September 1953 and passed away at his home on 16 August 2012. Steve served in the United States Marine Corps for 26 years, serving in Desert Shield/Desert Storm and numerous other conflicts, retiring in 1998 at the rank of E-8. He was a postman in Universal City, Texas for 10 years. Steve is survived by his wife, Shirley, his daughter, Marleigh, his father, William, sister Edie, and brothers Bob and Rudy. Steve made an impact on those lives he touched and will not be forgotten. His visitation is Wednesday, 22 August from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home. A service will be held for Steve at 10:00am on Thursday, 23 August at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Marine Corps. Honors.
