Douglas Wolfe

Douglas Darrell Wolfe was born on December 11, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on March 2, 2017 in Live Oak, Texas, at the age of 76. He is preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Mabel Wolfe, his sisters Linda Snell and Sylvia Weber, and his brother Wayne Wolfe. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Wolfe (Schertz, TX); sons Christopher Wolfe (Vista, CA) and Kevin Wolf and his wife Keri (Atascadero, CA); daughters Gina Jeffries and her husband Shawn (Cibolo, TX), Hali Wolfe (Long Beach, CA), Jessica Ross and her husband Rusty (Burleson, TX), Staci Gray and her husband Jason (Temecula, CA), Alisa Coriell and her husband Nathan (Kyle, TX); grandchildren Kaitlin Darling and her husband Craig, Micah Jeffries, Jilayne Wolfe, Raewynn Wolf, Joseph Rosado, Joshua VonHartung, Ava VonHartung, Paige Ross, Trenton Gray, Matthew Gray, Noah Coriell, Madelynn Coriell, Selah Coriell, Peter Coriell, and Noel Coriell; and sister Nancy Fisher and her husband Dick (Claremont, CA.) Douglas was known for his basketball skills and coaching. He enjoyed studying Noah's ark and created beautiful drawings. He was also an avid reader of the Bible. A service will be held on Monday March 13, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:15AM with military honors. We love and miss you so much, and can't wait to see you again in heaven someday!"
