Dorothy Dot Harborth was born to Raymond A. & Laura (Wahl) Jentsch on March 14, 1947 in New Braunfels, Texas. She passed away on March 1, 2010 in New Braunfels at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Jentsch and husband, Dr. Kermit Harborth, DVM. Dot is survived by her sons, Karl Harborth & wife, Sondra of Erie, Kansas and Chris Harborth & wife, Michelle of Marion; father, Raymond Jentsch & wife, Rose of New Braunfels; brother, Bertram Jentsch & wife, Barbara of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Konner & Ava and nieces & nephews, Keri, Terry & Sheri. She was an active 4-H member growing up and became a life-time member. Dot was active in the Guadalupe County Fair Association, Eagles Club of New Braunfels, San Antonio Livestock Show Calf Scramble Committee and a member of her church choir. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM (with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM) on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at First Protestant Church in New Braunfels with Reverend Daryl Higgins and Reverend Richard Carse officiating. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Texas 4-H Foundation, First Protestant Church Music Program (Baby Grand Piano Fund), or The American Cancer Society.
