Dorothy Baumgarner

October 15, 1931 — May 12, 2011

Dorothy J. Baumgarner, born on October 15, 1931, passed away on May 12, 2011, at the age of 79. Dorothy was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and she graduated from Edison High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Clark and six siblings. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Clyde E. Baumgarner, Jr.; children, Cynthia L. Beck and her husband, William, Trey Baumgarner and his wife, Melissa, and Mark B. Baumgarner and his wife, Carol; grandchildren, Ashley, Alison, Jill, and Ellen Baumgarner. Dorothy loved and cared for her family, and her Chihuahuas, who will all miss her dearly. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2011, at 10:00AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for a Graveside Service. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 7400 Louis Pasteur, San Antonio, Texas 78229.
