Dora Escalante

Dora Escalante was born on August 8, 1937 in Schertz, Texas. She passed away on June 24, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 81.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Angel Escalante who passed away in 2000. She is survived by her children, Guy Escalante, Barbara Escalante, Linda Henson with husband Darrell and Mark Escalante; grandchildren, Darrell Henson Jr., Matthew Henson, Brandon Garner and Austin Garner; great grandchildren, Camryn, Angela, Isabel, and Zoe.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 9:00PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM in the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
