Donetta Sue Kitching Dobbs, born April 19, 1951 in Big Spring, TX, passed away on February 9, 2013 in Marion, TX, at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her husband: Terry G. Dobbs; parents: Joe B. Kitching, Sr., and Maggie S. Kitching; and sister: Billie L. Horrell. She is survived by her daughter: Donetta Lynn Dobbs & husband, Carlos A. Herrera of Marion, TX; sister: Becky K. Moeller of Austin, TX; brothers: Joe Bob Kitching, Jr. & wife, Jacque of Granbury, TX, and John T. Kitching & wife, Sue of Byron, CA; granddaughter: Alexa Michelle Agular of Marion, TX; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend and caregiver, Jessica Berry. Sue worked as a tax appraiser with Nueces CAD for almost 30 years. She enjoyed reading and following the Calallen Wildcats football and band, in town or out. She was blessed to spend a short time with her new adopted granddaughter, Michelle. They had a blast playing dolls and watching cartoons. She was married for 42 years to her loving husband, Terry Dobbs. Sue loved to shop with her older sister, Billie, and going to the beach with her sister, Beckyshe spent a lot of time keeping her out of trouble! A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calallen High School Band Boosters, in Corpus Christi, TX, in memory of Sue Dobbs (graduate 1969 " daughter Donetta Dobbs, graduate 1990).
