Diann Pino

June 8, 1955 — September 24, 2020

Diann Elizabeth Baker Pino was born on June 8, 1955 in Akron, Ohio to parents Vincent and Doris Ann Baker. She passed away on September 24, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 65.

Diann graduated from the University of New Mexico with her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She joined the United States Air Force and worked as a jet engine mechanic for many years. Diann had a long history as a DOD civilian, working in recruiting, MEPS and as a flight secretary. Diann loved the military and loved to travel. She was always ready to "hit the road' and explore somewhere new. Diann lived and traveled to multiple states across the United States of America, as well as Canada and Japan. She has been inside caves, on a coal train and in meteor craters in Arizona. When she wasn't traveling, Diann enjoyed visiting the library, reading books, socializing with her friends at the Senior Center and most of all, spending time with her daughter and grandsons. She loved her family and loved being a grandma.

Diann was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Doris Ann Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ostrander with husband Nathan; grandsons, Brendan, Harrison, Eric and Rory; brothers, Bruce Baker, Brian Baker and Paul Baker; and sister, Debbie.

Due to the pandemic, formal services have been postponed to a later date. The family invites you to leave your memories, condolences, and prayers on the virtual guestbook. This guestbook will be printed and laid to rest with Diann.
