Derrick A. Stallings, born on April 1, 1981, passed away on November 1, 2016, at the age of 35. Derrick had a great passion for basketball and fitness. He had love for God, his children, his family and friends, and his church family. Derrick is preceded in death by his grandfather and mentor, Elder Woodrow Wilson of Hampton, VA. He is survived by his sons, Andre Stallings- McCargo, Mahki, and Derrick Stallings; daughter, Mia Treose; parents, Donna and Lance Graves and Michael Stallings ; grandmothers, Priscilla Wilson and Olivia George; brothers, Derrean, Dorian, and Lamon. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at St. Johns Church of God in Christ, located at 2416 Orcutt Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any memorial donation be made to The National Kidney Foundation, Inc.
