Deborah "Debbie" Rittimann Ball of Cibolo, TX, born on April 29, 1965, passed away on May 25, 2017 at the age of 52. Debbie's greatest passion was family. Affectionately known as Aunt Deboo to her cherished nieces and nephews, Debbie spoiled and supported them in all of their activities. Debbie graduated from Canyon High School in 1983 and from Texas Tech University in 1987.She enjoyed a 22 year teaching career at Harlandale ISD. Debbie was an avid quilter whom she learned from her grandmother and shared with her nieces; she also enjoyed cross-stitching and loved reading. Debbie loved to travel, relax with friends, and liked playing bunco with them. She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony "Tony" Rittimann; her paternal grandparents Hilmer and Linda Rittimann; and her maternal grandparents Albert and Evelyn Wenzel. Debbie is survived by her husband of 20 years, Julian Ball; her mother, Jo Anne Rittimann; her brother, Ron Rittimann (wife Patti Rittimann, nephew Hunter, niece Kylie); her sister Renata Goebel (husband Gregg Goebel, niece Jordan, nephew Grant, nephew Brett, nephew Braden); her mother and father in law Larry and Betty Ball; her brother-in-law Larry Ball (wife Laurie, niece Lacey, nephew Jordan, nephew Justin); as well as numerous extended family and friends who meant the world to Debbie. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 4:00PM-7:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
