Dawn Marie Strickland, born on August 29, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on August 8, 2015 in Brownsville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Danny Hollingsworth and step-father, Frank E. Jonaitis. Dawn is survived by her son, Martin Strickland; daughter, Brandie Strickland; mother, Betty Jonaitis; granddaughter, Kerina Hullaby; brothers, Scott Jonaitis and Frank M. Jonaitis; sister, Rhonda Kane; niece, Charlotte Kane; and nephew, Jakob Kane. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at 6:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home.
