Dawn Renee Keller Richardson, age 42, passed away on August 21, 2015. She was born on September 29, 1972 to James Foster Keller and Jessie Louise "Weezy" Boulden in San Antonio, TX. Dawn was a Christian and was raised in First Baptist Church Universal City. She was a 1992 graduate of Judson High School, which included her education in Cosmetology, choosing to follow in her paternal grandmother's (Mema's) footsteps. Dawn began her cosmetology career at Marilyn's (Mema's) Hair Fashion, and then she opened a beauty shop of her own in Marion called Your Desired Hair. Most recently she worked at The Hair Apparel in Schertz. Dawn was a hard working mother and wife, and she loved her three sons very much. She also loved a variety of music and singing, and was a former member of the FBCUC Youth Choir and the Judson High School Chorale. She enjoyed dancing from a young age, taking tap dancing classes, followed by dancing courses while at Judson High School. Country western was her favorite style of dancing as an adult. Dawn's hobbies included: stamping, cooking, sharing recipes with family and friends and also was an avid user of social media. In her childhood years, she was a Girl Scout and also active in various church groups. Dawn was preceded in death by her father: James Foster Keller and grandparents: Elmer L. Boulden, Ruby Harris Boulden and Ralph Keller. She is survived by her husband: Donald Wayne Richardson, Jr. of Live Oak, mother: Jessie Louise "Weezy" Boulden of Greenville, NC, sons: Philip S. Richardson, Dustin T. Richardson and Jacob K. Richardson all of Live Oak, grandmother: Marilyn Triesch Keller of Universal City, and sister: Misty Eve Keller of Universal City. A Memorial Service will be held at 7PM on Monday, August 31, 2015 at First Baptist Church Universal City (1401 Pat Booker Rd., 78148) with Pastor David Lindow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Dawn Keller Richardson Memorial Scholarship Fund, First Baptist Academy, 1401 Pat Booker Rd, Universal City, TX 78148.
