David Young

He was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and attended Alfred University and Greensboro (N.C.) College. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in April 1965 and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in November 1991.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister and was involved in other church activities. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Assembly 2523, in Schertz, Texas.
In memory of Dave, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, San Antonio and South Texas Chapter.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Schertz Funeral Home, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:30AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with interment immediately following at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery..
