David Toro

David Del Toro, born on January 1, 1933, passed away on December 20, 2016, at the age of 83. David was an assistant fire chief for the Cibolo Fire Department in the early 60's where he was Captain of the 6 man pumper team. He was a foreman for Capital Sand and Gravel for 29 years. David was also a carpenter for 13 years and assisted in building St. Paul Evangelical Church in Cibolo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Guadalupe Del Toro; son, Reynaldo Del Toro; parents, Arnulfo Del Toro Sr. and Maria Del Rosario; four brothers; and one sister. David is survived by his son, Raul Del Toro, Jr. and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Raul "Tito" Del Toro III and wife Shannon, Pamela Guerrero and husband Eric, Stefanie Casias and husband Johnny; great grandchildren, Dominique, Serena, Eric Tyler, Matthew, Easton, Jayten, and Jaxon; and brother, Elizandro Del Toro and wife Olivia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #2.
