David Gerhart

March 16, 1948 — June 17, 2018

David Charles Gerhart , born March 16, 1948, died June 17, 2018 the age of 70 years old. David was a '66 grad of McArthur H.S. earned an Associates Degree from S.A.C., and former licensed real estate broker. Raised on the family dairy farm in Bexar County, he milked cows alongside his father from the time he was a little boy. David continued the dairy farm operations with his mother after the family moved to New Berlin and his father died in 1982. A faithful life member of Beitel Memorial Lutheran, he ushered the 3rd Sunday of the month until June when he was ushered home to our Lord. David was preceded in death by his father, Calvin H. Gerhart and brother, Calvin H. Gerhart , Jr. He is survived by his mother, Marietta Finck Gerhart ; brothers, Donald and wife Barbara, Douglas; sister, Grace Kunde and husband Wyatt; nephews, Jonathan Gerhart , Wyatt Kunde and wife Monica; niece Scarlett Kunde . Services will be held 11: 00am , Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Beitel Memorial Lutheran, 2515 Austin Hwy, SAT. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Family requests donations be made to Beitel Memorial Lutheran.
