David Eldridge, Sr.

David James Eldridge Sr., of Marion Texas, was born to Harley and Norma (Trayaham) Eldridge on October 31, 1943 in Pleasanton Texas. David passed away May 6, 2011 at the age of 67, in San Antonio, Texas. A Memorial Services will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on May, 12, 2011 @ 7:00pm. David is preceded in death by his father, Harley Eldridge, and is Survived by his wife Barbara (Bobbie) Moore of Marion Texas, Son, David J. Eldridge Jr. and Wife, Linda of Austin, Texas, Son William Warren Eldridge and Wife, Bambi, of Phoenix Arizona, Daughter Melissa Eldridge of San Antonio Texas., Daughters, Ashlee and Sara Eldridge of Marion Texas. Mother Norma Trayaham Eldridge of Pleasanton Texas, Sister Doris Millet and husband John of Pleasanton Texas, Brother, Robert Eldridge and Wife Margie of San Antonio, Texas. David also leaves behind 5 Grandsons, 2 Granddaughters, and 2 great grandchildren as well as Nieces and Nephews. With only a 9th grade education, David owned many Companies throughout his life. He started selling Bibles at age 13 and then became a Truck Driver, from there owning and operating two Sand and Gravel Companies (Alamo Haulers and Colorado Trucking). David might most be remembered for owning Trainer Hale Truck Stop to his last endeavor Daves Tree Trimming business. Davids passions were his Family, Golf, Poker, Fishing and Work. David will be missed and loved greatly by all.
