David Degollado

December 29, 1938 — May 10, 2012

David Alfredo Degollado (MSgt, USAF retired) of Schertz, Texas was born December 29, 1938 and passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the age of 73. David was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Maria Luisa Degollado and his brother, Jorge Degollado and sister, Maria Luisa Degollado Ramirez. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne R. Degollado; children: David Degollado and wife, Alyssa, Debora Degollado, Alfred Degollado and wife, Laura, and Gary Degollado; grandchildren, Shelby, Ramsey and Jordan Degollado; sister, Gloria Degollado; brother-in-law, Galo Ramirez and sister-in-law Consuela Degollado and numerous other extended family members. David was a member of Knights of Columbus, Good Shepherd Catholic Church, member and past Commander of VFW Post #8315 in Schertz, Texas. Visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary to start at 7:00PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 1:00pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Hal Baldwin Scholarship Fund and/or the Schertz Knights of Columbus.
