Dave Mcneal

Dave McNeal was born August 4, 1945 in Woodville, Texas to the late Ousiley McNeal and Rosalee Gilder.

In 1971, he married Helen McNeal; they were married for 47 years. He attended George Washington Carver High School in Kountze, Texas. He retired from United States Air Force after 18 years of service. Dave (MAC) loved working on cars.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen Mae McNeal, brother John Herbert, and sister Delores Hubbard. Left to cherish his memories are daughter Lisa Reid of San Antonio, Texas, brother James (Oretha) McNeal of Kountze, Texas, sister Linda McCray of Beaumont, Texas, grandson Thomas Reid of San Antonio, Texas, great-granddaughter Keilani Reid of San Antonio, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00-9:00PM. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, March 9, 2019 also at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM. Interment will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:00PM.
