Dale Arndt

December 2, 1964 — November 1, 2012

Dale was born on December 2nd, 1964 to Norman and Joan Arndt in England. Dale graduated from Samuel Clemens in 1983 with his wife and best friend Kathleen. He continued his education at UTSA where he received his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and Education. Dale was proud to be a Roadrunner Alumni. Dale was a physical education and health teacher at Margil Elementary School in San Antonio ISD for 14 years where most referred to him as Coach. He had a true passion and love for coaching and for his children. He loved each and every student like they were his own and it was evident that they loved him right back. His love, other than his family, is Lacey, their manchipoo. He loved Lacey Lou more than anyone could ever love a dog. Dale, Kathleen and Lacey would spend their weekends together eating Bill Miller breakfasts at Schertz Park, driving down River Road and spending time at Canyon Lake. The three were inseparable. Dale's favorite place to eat was Bill Miller Bar-B-Q. He, Kathleen and Lacey spent many days and nights together eating lemon meringue pie, apple pie and pumpkin pie together. Dale also enjoyed watching the Spurs with his family. He was a big basketball and football enthusiast. He was an avid reader and spent many nights reading Clive Cussler books. He enjoyed all things history, including watching the History Channel, Pawn Stars and and American Pickers. He was also a huge Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan and enjoyed watching races and the Speed channel. Dale leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Kathleen, his parents Norman and Joan, his 5 children Ryan, Jeremy, Kayla, Stefan and Lacey, his 2 brothers Andy and Dave, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Please come celebrate Dale's life at his Celebration of Life at Schertz Civic Center on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served
