Cynthia Haynes

November 13, 1961 — March 14, 2022

Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and wife Cynthia Haynes, 60, of Live Oak, passed away on March 14th 2022, after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Cindy, born on November 13, 1961 to two doting parents, Billie and Sonny in Houston. Cindy was a bundle of joy from the very beginning. Cindy will always be remembered for her wit, sarcastic humor, selfless and loving nature. After graduating from high school in 1980, Cindy went on to pursue a career in book keeping and real-estate.

It was shortly after in 1982 that she met Kenneth. The two fell in love and were a match made in heaven, going on to have two children: Samuel and Jeffrey; and an inspiring 34 year marriage. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Cindy’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mom, supportive, kind, hilarious, and we will all miss her dearly. She loves the Lord with all her heart and no doubt was so very excited to meet him face to face!

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Billie, father Sonny, and brother Larry. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, her two children, her beloved daughter-in-law Loran, her loving brother, Jimbo, and her amazing sisters, Linda and Paula.

She lived a full and rich life surrounded by all those she loved with all her heart. Let us persevere and carry on until the date of our heavenly reunion comes.

A Visitation will take place on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Luke 16:1 -31
