Cora Lee Johnson

Cora L. Johnson, age 82, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. Known for her humor, wisdom, and love, she cherished every moment with family and friends. Her laughter, resilience, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

In addition to her love for her family, Cora was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church and Resurrection Baptist Church. She enriched her community through her dedicated roles as a Cub Scout leader, Girl Scout leader, and a parent volunteer, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to guiding and uplifting others throughout her life.

Cora is survived by her beloved children, cherished grandchildren, and adored great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a large, loving extended family and countless friends who were deeply touched by her warmth, kindness, and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert L. Johnson, as well as her parents, several siblings, and other dear family members who went before her.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated medical staff, compassionate caregivers, and supportive friends who provided kindness and care during this time.
