23. Her hometown was Lubbock Texas. She graduated from Lubbock Coronado High School in 1971. She received an Associates of Arts Degree from South Plains College in 1980. Connie received a Bachelors' of Science and then Masters' of Education from Texas Tech University. Connie actively served in the United States Air Force; she also worked in Civil service at Reece Air Force Base in Lubbock. An elementary school teacher, she taught in the Lubbock Texas Independent School District for 5 years, in Judson
ISD
for 20 years and the Marion Independent School District for three years.
Connie volunteered with Boy Scouts. She volunteered with the Lubbock Humane Society. She worked with Alcoholics Anonymous. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of PTA. She was a certified Scuba Diver. She was an artisan Egg Crafter. Connie sold Mary Kay. After years of teaching, Connie became a full-time personal caregiver.
