Connie Muehl

Connie Fortune Muehl passed away Sunday April 15,2018. She was born November 27, 1953. Connie Lou was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Sheppard Air Force Base to then Sue Hood Snyder and George Snyder. On February 20,1993 she married John William Muehl . They had two sons John David Muehl 24 and Raymond Carl Muehl 23. Her hometown was Lubbock Texas. She graduated from Lubbock Coronado High School in 1971. She received an Associates of Arts Degree from South Plains College in 1980. Connie received a Bachelors' of Science and then Masters' of Education from Texas Tech University. Connie actively served in the United States Air Force; she also worked in Civil service at Reece Air Force Base in Lubbock. An elementary school teacher, she taught in the Lubbock Texas Independent School District for 5 years, in Judson ISD for 20 years and the Marion Independent School District for three years.

Connie volunteered with Boy Scouts. She volunteered with the Lubbock Humane Society. She worked with Alcoholics Anonymous. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of PTA. She was a certified Scuba Diver. She was an artisan Egg Crafter. Connie sold Mary Kay. After years of teaching, Connie became a full-time personal caregiver.

She is survived by her husband John William Muehl , her son John David Muehl and wife Rebecca; her son Raymond Carl Muehl and wife Lauren, her mother Sue Hood Fortune, her father George Snyder, her Mother-in-law Frances Hartman Muehl , her sister Carla Fortune Robnett , her sister Meredith Fortune McAlister and husband Greg along with three nephews, Jason Mac Robnett , Joshua James Robnett , Caden Allen McAlister and three nieces, Jalie Robnett Crawford and husband Matt, Kristen Leigh McAlister and Shannon Mae McAlister ; great nephews Zeph Ephram Crawford and Elijah John Crawford and great nieces Sophia Jewel Crawford and Heidi Mashell Crawford.
